Description

Camping at Big Lagoon in the Bay of Fires Conservation Area. Big open space with full lagoon frontage. Sandy level site. 4wd only as steep incline for 30 meters in. Not suitable for trailers. Other spots further up more suitable to small off-road trailers. There are no facilities - Visitors must be self sufficient - Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Campers are required to bring water and firewood. Campers are encouraged to bring fire pots for use when fire restrictions are not in place. The maximum stay is four weeks. Dogs (on leads only) are permitted.
