Base Camp Tasmania is a family owned and operated campground with cabin or camping options in the Derwent Valley. BCT is on 100 acres of private land that is protected by a conservation covenant. 25 years of conversation work and wildlife caring make this place an amazing secluded sanctuary to spend some time resting and relaxing. Camping with communal kitchen, shared toilet, shower and washing facilities from $20 Dormitory accomodation with communal kitchen, shared toilet, shower and washing facilities from $40 Self contained cabin with own kitchen, toilet and shower facilities from $160 Large caravans may have difficulty accessing the property however vehicles under 12m in total length are recommended. Please drive to conditions when traveling to this property, 4km of dirt road driving is required. This road is in good condition however narrow and steep at times.
