Description

The town of Kingoonya is in the middle of 'somewhere' and is the northern gateway to the Gawler Ranges National Park. The park provides fantastic opportunities for sightseeing, photography, touring by 4WD and the chance to enjoy a remote bush camping experience. We are at the crossroads to the West and the North and also to the South. You could take the shortcut down the Gawler Ranges Road to Wirulla or Streaky Bay or further onto Ceduna and the road West or if going the other way up North go back to highway (35km) via Gosses road. On your travels stop pop in and have a cold one at Kingoonya Hotel also available are snacks during the day and Hot Lunches are available (11.30 to 2pm) and evening meals 6.30 to 8.30 Mon to Sat). Sun is PIZZA night 5.30 to 8pm. Motel Accommodation is available if you prefer to stay. Pets are welcome but not in rooms and need to be on a leash at all times. The hotel now has two family rooms (queen & 2 singles)and two queen rooms (queen and 1 single) and two queen rooms (queen bed only). Continental breakfast is available if ordered night before. Toilets and showers are in a seperate section of motel. There are TV's in all rooms along with fridges ,toasters, Tea/Coffee making facilities Hot Snacks are available between 11.30 am and 2 pm by way of light meals and pies pasties sausage rolls and toasted sandwiches are avaiable all day. Hot meals can be available at lunch if given prior notice. The evening meals are available between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm. Menu is in front bar.
