Murphys Haystacks are ancient, wind-worn pillars and boulders of pink granite estimated to be over 1,500 million years old.
The site features a walking track, interpretive signage and sheltered picnic area.
If you get lucky there is also local honey for sale too!

Absolutely stunning place stayed the night $10 $2 to see the Haystacks and they sell honey well worth the drive in.

Make sure you don't just stop at the first lot of rocks. Take time and the effort to walk another 300 m to the ones at the back on the left. You will be amazed. And also make sure you pay your fee because it is well worth it. You can also buy some local honey if it is available.
