Description

There are 30 private riverside sites situated further along the Pentecost River, yet still close to the heart of the action. They are approximately 10 minutes' drive from The Station's central facilities, which are available for use by all campers. Please be aware that sizes of sites, shade and access to eco loos vary and these sites are not suitable for caravans. Currently our sites are not suitable for swimming. Finch site is the last camping site and is 8km away from the main station. There is the back drop of the rocky cliffs behind with the front facing the Pentecost River. Beautiful running creek. Fresh water crocs swim up to the creek at night to try and catch the small Barramundi. Not much shade and a fair distance from the drop toilets. Total seclusion.
