Great monument and good to read about some of the history around here. Went further over, looking over the fence and could see some of the ruins there. We had lunch here, could even see the ocean in the distance. We stayed the night in our caravan in the gravel pit, close by. What a great spot, and not much traffic on the highway. There must be hundreds of little known memorials around.
