There is plenty to see at the Mallee Tourist & Heritage Centre museum. There is a large variety of displays, so allow a lot of time to see it properly. Displays include the Letterpress Printing Museum, the Gum Family Collection of restored engines, tractors, and farm machinery, and the D A Wurfel Grain Collection. The Centre is open from 10am to 1pm Monday to Saturday.

We stumbled upon this gem of a place and are so glad we did Although it was almost closing time the lovely Beryl not only admitted us, but then showed us through the extensive historical museum. It includes a wonderful collection of printing presses and memorabilia. We were given a lot of education by Beryl on the use and history of these which made it more interesting. There was also many other exhibits such as farm machinery, medical memorabilia, the woman's role in develping the town as well as every day life. Don't go past if you are a history buff. Thoroughly recommended.

Don't be deceived by seemingly small size of the entrance building, this museum is extensive. Don't drive by if you have any interest in the early history of Australia. Highly recommended.

Fabulous museum, full of amazing displays and information. Beautifully maintained and restored items and equipment. Thank you to the lovely, friendly staff who showed us around the printing presses. Lots to see - allow plenty of time. Well worth the visit!
