Description

The Longwood Community welcome you to their camp ground at the recreation reserve. However donations are encouraged and welcomed to maintain and improve the Reserve. There is a donation box in the toilet room (behind grey door and closest to oval). Or, you can leave a donation at the Hotel, General Store or Rockery. Please leave a review to help us improve the site. This area allows camping for a maximum of three nights (closed on Code Red fire danger days). There is a unisex public toilet and drinking water. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. A short walk to the general store (Open Mon-Fri 9-2pm 5-7pm), The White Hart hotel (Open Thur - Sunday) and the Rockery Gem Museum and Shop (Open Wednesday - Sunday and seven days a week during school holidays). Fire pits are now in place. Please only have fires in the pits or your own drum. Feel free to pick up dead wood from around the center but you are not allowed to chop down any trees. Please don't camp under the old gum trees.
