This is simply superb!!! Thousands of exhibits donated from locals - many of which you can touch which makes it fascinating. Best $5.00 I've spent for a long time. Combine this with the 2-displays in the Information Centre 100m away , and you have an excellent grasp of Kapunda's historical significance. Ask to see the wartime museum as well which is in a seperate building 30m away up the street. Highly recommend. Shrimpy The ManintheBlackVan

Wow! This is not just any old museum! There is so much to see and room after room of memorabilia. Only $5 per person. Run by volunteers, this is a great tribute to the town and a must see. You could spend 3 hours easily and still have plenty to see. We will be back!

A must see, so much history. How fortunate is Kapunda to have all this well preserved history. This huge display takes at least 2 hours, we took longer..it's a credit to all volunteers involved in sharing this great museum. Michael was great sharing knowledge & interesting information.
