Magical spot. Would be better after rains with the Water hole filling up with fresher water.

Very still and very distinct feeling here. No wind no noise today. In my travel book (hopefully updated on blurb of point) it says the rock is called Death Rock because local aboriginal people once placed their dying kingolk here to rest and pass over in their last hours. Weirdly you can feel that peace. It doesn't state this on the sign however which is a bit sad.

Well worth the stop. Stunning waterhole and rocks. If the legend is correct, what a wonderful last place to see on this earth.
