Did a day trip to check this out first. Glad we did, beach is sensational, rock pools a little overrated but the road in was a shocker. Long, rocky and corrugated, last part of road into campground was terrible with a lot of damage from recent rains. We decided it wasn't worth the effort for one night with the van.

Agree with Renee91, track was long & in places pretty rocky however we'll worth the drive if you can get here on a calm day at low tide. Very dangerous beach and large waves behind this pool breaking on rocks so 100% care needs to be taken with tides. Amazing scenery of mountains in the background and beach/Rockpool. Would camp here with the van no problems but would need to stay a couple of days to make the drive worthwhile. Would be amazing waking up here.

Not sure if we were here at the wrong time of day but the rock pools we were able to find were not safe to go in with the waves, and a long way along a dirt road to get to. I'd recommend if you don't have a 4WD and/or a lot of time to spend there then it probably isn't worth it as it took us probably over 40 minutes round trip on the dirt roads to get there and back, much longer than what google maps estimates given the poor road condition.
