Take a 3.6km loop walk through Great (Big) Gorge that follows Yankalilla River and you will be walking in Colonel William Light's footsteps. Informative history signage along the way, and although I had already done this walk in winter, it is just as beautiful in summer. You can almost hear the clackety noise from the old coaches making their way between towns.

Definitely not a grade 4 as indicated- barely a grade 2. Info boards along the way. Nice walk - beautiful old gums - strangely quite a lot dying. Saw a fox amongst the sheep and an eagle circling above.

As the previous review it's not what I would call a gorge but it is a lovely valley walk through beautiful country. 3.8km walk takes about 1 hr.
