A great little spot to sit and eat fish and chips from the local cafe. If you watch Whale Rock you will see the blow hole which resembles a whale.

You can see the whale shaped rock best from the boat ramp but for a different view of it, and of the bay, walk to the right of the ramp, along the beach, up the wooden steps and along the trail about 20 metres. The trail goes further but didn't have time to explore...

Beautiful beach with interesting rocks to explore and lots of long soft stretches of sand into shallows for kids. Little diving Island to swim out to. Worth the drive as it's so quiet and pretty. I do have a gripe with the unnecessary parking (and driving) on the beach which spoilt the natural view and meant we were on alert with my toddler.
