A wonderful collection. It is a shame that almost everything is covered in a thick layer of dirt. Clearly no upkeep has been done in years, if ever. Items deteriorate when neglected like this.

Agree with the below, if its hot and you have a choice then go in the morning, but if not then go anyway as its mostly indoors. Fabulous way for kids to get an insight into life in days gone by with displays as varied as washing machines to trucks, harvesters and cameras, and even a school house with a blackboard. Laid out really well, thanks!

Since our last visit many years ago, the museum has expanded greatly. It covers a broad spectrum from farming, mining & local history. The old school room is an absolute highlight for any baby boomer wanting to reminisce. Allow 90 mins to 2 hrs
