Dirt road in was pretty good if you take it slowly. Two good overnight caravan spots but the rest were overgrown or inaccessible over very rough rocks. (We had to reverse in) The camping spot is quite protected behind the sand dunes very close to the cliff and stairs leading down to the cave. Good spot for a fire. Please use designated fire pits - several people had dotted fresh ones over the site - ridiculous and thoughtless behaviour. You must be completely self sufficient - no toilets or water and no bins. The council have neglected upkeep which is a real shame as it could be so much nicer. We were the only campers - glad we came but just stayed one night.

Road in was a bit rough for the camper van you hear everything rattle. Lots of rocks, a few potholes and some corrugation. We stayed the night but wind came up and we had a camp behind the dunes but we still rocked. Road ok & not sticky/ slippery after some overnight rain.

Not sure this is a designated camp site any more...No Camping signs as you come in off the main road...that's probably why it's in such poor condition. 1 spot only really suitable to get a van in.....rest very uneven and rocky
