Description

Private property. No entry. Point Malcolm is the only freshwater inland lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1878 on the eastern side of the narrows between Lake Alexandria and Lake Albert, opposite Narrung, a small Aboriginal community. No camping or overnight parking.

Apple Maps leads you to a private property. Continue on to parking on left before ferry. Easy walk. Worth it for the view and the novelty of the only inland lighthouse in the Southern Hemisphere.
