Description
Large open spaces nearby clifftop, no facilities. 400m of rocky road in poor condition but 2WD.
Leo Cummings (pioneering family of Sheringa district) drowned when the crayfish boat 'Wangaree' was wrecked on the rocks at the base of the cliffs near Kiana in 1959 and the monument was erected in his honour.

We walked from the pull off by the road to the cliffs, stopping at the monument along the way. It isn't far and very scenic. Well worth a stop!

Went up with van, plenty of room to turn around. Track a bit washed atm but ok. Breath taking views.

What part of "rare nesting osprey" don't people understand? You simply DO NOT go to places of fragile natural beauty and destroy them anyway! I watched a school group continually throw rocks (some as large as they could carry) from the top of the cliff whilst their supervisors did nothing, for at least 5 minutes, before I walked over and lost my shit at them. The hell is wrong with humans??
