Stayed one night to access walking tracks. Good location and friendly staff. Also valued the opportunity for a Welcome to Country. However bathrooms not maintained- no hand soap (run out) and quite messy. Fire wood all sold out at the IGA so stock up prior.

Stayed for two nights on an unpowered camp site. $25/night plus $10 for the National Park fee (very reasonable, given the location). It is a handy spot to explore the Flinders from but we wouldn't stay again. Two of the three bathroom blocks were closed for renovations, which forced a lot of people into the one very dated and poorly maintained block...not ideal when there are large school camps there! The showers were pretty gross, close to the wall and hard to get under for anyone over 5 foot, and half the lights over the ladies toilets were blown meaning the toilets were very dark at night. Highly recommend the Mt Ohlsenn Bagge walk though, and the lovely gentleman that checked us couldn't have been more helpful - wish I could remember his name!!

Stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Gorgeous views and walks. However, staff weren't too helpful when we were asking about the 4WD and the hiking tracks. Did Mount Ohlssen-Bagge (4 hour return) which I highly recommend. Campfires everywhere which is great. Freezing at night night so bring firewood (can also buy firewood from the IGA at the campsite for $23.50) and rug up!
