Description
An ideal place to soak up the ambience of this quiet and peaceful town.
Spend some time fishing from our award-winning jetty, one of the excellent spots close by or use of facilities as a base to explore the pristine wilderness of the Eyre Peninsula.
On our recently refurbished jetty, there are several pergolas with sheltered seating to watch the resident dolphins or other wildlife, indulge in a beer or glass of wine whilst enjoying our amazing sunsets.
The Smoky Bay area is well known for its oyster farms and plentiful fish, including King George whiting, flathead, and crabs. The bay is ideal for fishing, it does not matter, whether you have a tinny or a larger boat. Snapper and tuna are regularly caught around the surrounding islands and fish, crabs and squid are caught on a daily basis off the jetty.
Smoky Bay Caravan Park and Cabins is situated on the beachfront, just metres from the clean clear waters and a short stroll to the jetty. We offer a range of accommodation from our new ensuite motel units, self-contained brick, and budget cabins, powered and unpowered camp and caravan sites.
We are also a PET-FRIENDLY park.

We were blessed with warm sunny weather. We were able to have a dozen fresh oysters with some fresh bread and oyster bay wine in the sun. All just a stone's throw from the lovely bay. I also was able to walk to the bay with my kayak and paddle around the bay in calm water. A wonderful park!

Great park with excellent camp kitchen & amenities. Very friendly & helpful owners/managers, nothing was any trouble. Short walk to the beach & jetty. Can highly recommend the Community Club for a meal Friday - Sunday, fast & excellent service & very filling. Staff very friendly especially Jasmine & Deb is a fantastic cook at getting the meals out really quickly. Can highly recommend both the Park & the Club.
