Lovely, approachable management. Park is definitely undergoing a major makeover, but is still certainly accessible in any vehicle & a comfortable stay. Just by going for a walk around the park you can get a feel for how it will look once completed as they have started piecing things together, almost resort vibes except affordable! Temporary camp kitchen & bathrooms are gorgeous little units with brand new, tidy fittings! Traffic can be noisy as it's right on the highway, but nothing too bad.

New managers were really welcoming. They have already started improvements in the park and have cleaned up amenities as best as they can showers are hot and good. There is some traffic noise from the highway but it didn't bother us at all. The positives here are large undesignated sites (you can leave your van hooked up) campfires and amazing sunsets. The nearby by township has a small supermarket and there is a couple of pub options a short drive away.

Like other reviews... currently undergoing a massive renovation... The new owners are terrific and despite all the works going on they have managed to keep the park fully functional and comfortable to stay in... It will be a great asset to Tailem Bend when complete and we'll definitely stay there again if we come back this way... I urge all travellers to support this park if they're in Tailem Bend ... the new owners deserve full marks for their efforts...
