Woodcutters Beach Campgrounds 2 and 3

Woodcutters Trail, South Australia

3 designated camp spots on beach front. Accessible by 4wd only, via woodcutters track. Good fishing, and fresh pippi's by the bucketload. Sites are relatively small, larger vehicles may have trouble fitting in. However the beach is able to be driven on, with lots of flat, soft sand above the high tide line to camp on. Incredible view of the city across the water at night. Long stretches of shallow water at low tide, great for finding shellfish. Drive in is very rocky and bouncy, with narrow trees and bushes. Not to be attempted if you're too precious about your paintjob.

Very rocky slow drive in, but lovely secluded beach!!

Very rocky slow 2km drive in, definitely not for the faint hearted. Very restricted camp spots. Don't bother trying to take a caravan or camper trailer in there. A nice beach, but plenty of others to chose from in the area that r just as good or better. The kids decided they would run out rather than sit in the car again and with a 5 minute head start we only caught them 100m before the main road - slow going!!!

After 2 kms of slow narrow track due to limestone rocks beach is filled with weed but very pretty cove. Small camp sites. No vans. Tents only
