Road in from the west is not ok for a few kms then down to 10-20 kmh the rest of the wsy. I saw a couple of on road vans turn around and go back. The camp itself is great. Large sites. Got up pre dawn and went down to watch the yellow footed wallabies race around chasing each other at lightning fast speeds. After an hr or so they just did what macros do and sat down to rest. Fantastic experience I've never seen anything like that before

Road from (west) outback highway is perfect now. 10 kms of well graded dirt. Then a couple of kms on graded gorge trail. We blew a tire on the rear of LC200 towing our van coming in from the east which is probably 10+ kms of gorge road. Just one of those things after 65000k without any tyre issues. Our group of 3 vans stayed on sites 4, 5 and 6. These sites are big and pretty level. Unfortunately we had strong southerly winds and the gusts (bullets) rattled the vans all night but we also didn't have any big red gums over us to drop limbs. Good spot but maybe not if strong winds forecast.

What An awesome little find on the West Side of the Flinders. Stayed 3 days did some serious chillaxing. Saw so much wild life. Weather 24° to 31° fabulous
