Description
Campsites must be booked prior to arrival to the park.
This campground is only accessible to 4WD vehicles. There is a large grassed area which has some shelter provided by vegetation. The campground can only be accessed from the mainland during summer due to high water levels in the Coorong Lagoon during winter. At other times, the campground may be accessed by via the 42 Mile Crossing and the ocean beach (subject to weather and beach conditions). Campsites are unpowered and unallocated.
Tea Tree Crossing is also not recommended for caravans - there's a high risk of getting bogged and the water levels at the crossing are unpredictable.
Sites are suitable for tents and camper trailers. There are no facilities.
No pets.

Beautiful campsite, grass is nice and green and plenty of space! The crossing for someone who has not done many crossings was a bit daunting especially it being salt water go very slow and have trust in the firm surface. The slower you go the less last water you will spray up onto/into your car! Will return :)

We camped here for 2 nights. Nice big sites and amazing views. The lagoon is beautiful. There's a short but good sand dune drive if you have a 4wd. We aren't into surf fishing, but there lots of good spots for it. We haven't seen any wildlife but there's signs that there is plenty around. No facilities and about an hour's drive to the nearest towns, so come prepared. Ensure you bring insect repellent. No fires. Would return as it is a beautiful spot.

Gorgeous spot with loads of grassy space, out of the wind and a fun 4WD over the dunes to the beach. Crossing was dry when we came across with camper trailer. No one else here, bliss! With the wind we've had the drive up to 42 Mile Crossing became pretty challenging - very soft!!
