Quiet, uncrowded (even on a long weekend) with campers spread out well away from each other enjoying the serenity! Great views all around and safe for kids and fur babies to roam around the place and explore without upsetting others. Hosts are really helpful and pop past just to check on firewood supplies for the portable fire pits. Need to ensure you can level your van up as sites can be slightly uneven especially for tents and swags. Be sure to be self sufficient with water and power and take rubbish home with you. One long drop loo but clean and odourless. Highly recommended spot!

Spent the weekend at this amazing Farm Stay with Family and we had the best time. Serenity is the perfect name for this campsite cause it is not only a beautiful setting but it's peaceful and so relaxing. The hosts ( Kellie the dog included) are very friendly and have set things up to make your stay enjoyable. The wood is ready and waiting at your camp sight and the long drop toilet is clean but is also supplied with hand sanitiser, plenty of toilet paper, disinfectant wipes , plus has solar lighting for night visits. Highly recommend this beautiful place and Thankyou so much to Alison and Russel .

Had the best 2 night stay here at Alison and Russels / Serenity. Also with the lovely company of their kelpie Kellie (who is a delight) Their place is beautiful and clean, plenty of camp spots and room around the entire property. Firewood cut and ready on arrival (how good) Basic drop toilet but very clean and non smelling. Incredible sunrise/sunset and star gazing. 35 minute drive to Gawler (next main town) Would definitely recommend staying here, it's peace of mind to leave your things safe and secure whilst adventuring the area. If you are an Australian TV fan of McLeods daughters, you MUST call Del who runs tours of the homestead and where it was filmed, words can't describe how amazing the tour was! :) Google Mcleods homestead tours to find out more.
