Stayed here good Friday as everything was booked. We parked our car next to gate and had to kinda climb up a few steps over the fence. It's a lovely spot! We felt bad taking up spots for hikers but there was enough space for everyone. Definitely only for tents.

Please be mindful when camping here. Leave nothing. Its one of our last free spots that is actually meant for hikers only so us car campers need to be really mindful and respectful. Ive been using robinsons all my life as a pit stop surfing along sa coast. Its a gem. Lets keep that way :) respect the hikers if you have driven and dont tell anyone about it!!!

Definitely a tents only set up, but I read earlier reviews that a couple cars can fit. Technically yes you could stay the night there in a van/rooftop tent. I was there with a rooftop tent and made it work, but you're basically just pulled over on the side of the road and not in the actual site... So I'm not sure how legit that is... There were only 3 or so cars that went past though so it's still really quiet. There's defintely room for a small van between a tree and the fence, which is a bit more sheltered from the road than where a rooftop tent can fit.
