Thankyou so much Theakstone family for allowing us the opportunity to explore this amazing part of the country. We took 20ft van to BBQ area semi off road and made this our base to explore further a bit bumpy and rough to go all tye way to RedBanks but would have been doable going slow. Amazing ruggered Aussie landscape, caves were just amazing being able to access was a bit cold for a snorkle but if your going and it's warm definitely would be a great snorkle low tide. Personally caves were best part and will be something I'll never forget. Thankyou

Dragged van 18ft van out for a look, wasn't really worth taking the van out. Was ok for a look but better easier camps to get too closer to town. 4wd recommend if towing a van.

Good flat area to camp at the end of the solid road but really only one sheltered spot. To get the most out of the $40 entrance fee, leave the caravan behind and do a day trip. There are so many sights, to properly enjoy it plan on spending most of a day. No facilities other than some overflowing bins.
