COVID-19 Update Yorke Peninsula Council has now re-opened its bush camping sites for regional travellers. Please remember that: Gatherings should be kept to 10 or less people at any time; Maintain 1.5m social distancing (1 person per 4 sqm); If you have any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home until you are well; Wash your hands often, wipe down touched surfaces and cover your coughs and sneezes; and If you are a vulnerable person (i.e. elderly of have chronic health conditions), consult your doctor before planning to travel. ---- All designated bush camp grounds are subject to a fee and a permit must be obtained prior to setting up camp Each vehicle requires a permit - if you are towing a caravan or trailer, these details will be added to your permit as part of the booking process. The permit is not restricted to a particular camp ground, but covers camping at any of Yorke Peninsula's designated bush camp grounds. The permit does NOT cover Innes National Park. Permits available include nightly, weekly, four weeks, and 12 months. All camping permits are recorded on a central data base - there is no need to print anything, rangers will monitor vehicle registration details. Purchase your permit online or at the Council offices: Maitland Council Office - 8 Elizabeth Street Maitland Minlaton Council Office - 18 Main Street Minlaton Yorketown Council Office - 15 Yorketown Road Yorketown Port Minlacowie is located on the western coast of the Peninsula, 650 m north of Minlacowie Road access via Beegoodyewells Road. Large open camp ground with easy access to the rocky beach. Average toilet with no paper supplied so bring your own.



Good value $10 a night camp. Clean toilet bit windy.



Great spot, plenty of room. Nice bay for a swim. No luck with the fishing squidding or crabing. Plenty of mice around at the moment
