The road in is about 10km and was rough but the grader came through as we were leaving which made it much smoother. Had no problem bringing my off road van in. The path to the Chinaman Well is an easy 1.5 hour return flat walk and amazingly set out with rocks the whole way which is impressive. The modern facilities are amazing, solar lights, composting loo and a First Aid kit and UHF radio in the shelter. Dry and dusty but good for 2 nights.

Great camp. Compost toilet, shade, water tank. Good interpretation, if visiting Moro gorge take a few hours 3to 4 hours, to enjoy getting there, being there. Saw up to 60 goats on the drive. There is a goat trap that is used to trap goats, might be time to put that into use again. No rain for years is not helping. The walk to the China mans water hole is about 2.5km each way. (Saw 10 goats at the water hole). Great care has been taken to create this walking trail. Takes you thru some interesting geo features and different vegetation types. Evidence of some ripping to encourage water to stay on the soil and catch a seed source. managed to see some native banana very special! The track in is rough, got our 17ft off road van in, bit of a challenge. But worth it. Booked for 2 Stayd 3

Great campsite with clean toilets, shelter shed and picnic tables. Good signage and plenty to do. Plaque campsite was a good base to set up. Big Moro Gorge definitely a highlight. Very quiet and peaceful area. Recommend it.
