Beautiful beachside campground at Parada Point. Camping is subject to a fee and a permit must be obtained prior to setting up camp.
Three ways to purchase a permit
Online at https://yorke.sa.gov.au/bush-camping-permit/ Phone the free call number 1800 202 445.
Visit a Council office, located in Maitland, Minlaton and Yorketown or from the many Visitor Information Outlets across the Peninsula.
Generators - most people go camping to enjoy the peace and quiet and may not appreciate a noisy generator - of course if you need to run a generator throughout the night for medical reasons, try to camp away from others to minimise disruption.
Take your rubbish with you and leave the campsite spotless.
Only light fires where and when they are permitted and use the fireplaces and fire rings provided.
Pets are allowed, make sure they are under control - in most cases that means keeping them on a leash - and please pick up any droppings.

Great place to stay, spent 6 nights here. Can get windy at times. No water, byo, can get in town. Lots of space, lots of grass areas. Toilet facility is good. Very quiet with a little traffic noise. Ranger checks permits.

So quiet and plenty of grass and flat ground. Can pull up right near the beach. Drop toilet but take your own paper. Easy for big rigs to set up.

Great camp site. Recently spent 5 nights there with the awning rolled in on the last 2 due to wind. As previously mentioned the sites are spacious & grassy, toilet is clean. The beautiful town of Ardrossan is only 5klms away & has all basic needs. Be sure to visit the lookout on the opposite side of the road to the camp heading towards Ardrossan. Well done Yorke shire.
