The gravel pit was a bit uninspiring, but we followed a track away from the road and found a large clearing next to the train line. There were 2 other campers back there, but plenty of room to spread out. In these spots you aren't visible from the road at all. Bit of road noise from an occasional truck and a couple of trains overnight, but didn't bother us. The ground was a bit soft in some spots, so I'd be careful after rain if you're in a 2wd.

Goin Boosh

Good place to stop with level areas and little road noise. Nothing fancy, nice sunset.

Heaps of space , both near and away from highway. A good overnighted or two. Could get a little slushy with rain. I would return
