Description
Camping on the southern side of Lake Bolac. Camping is permitted on most of the accessible foreshore except where restriction signs are displayed. Camping is now free.
Toilet facilities are located at North, East, South and Main Beaches with hot showers located only at Picnic Point at the end of Main Beach. A fee applies for the hot showers ($5 token required, available at the Information Centre or Diner & Cafe).
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
The freshwater lake is 27 kilometres around the foreshore and covers 1460 hectacres. When full, Lake Bolac is about 6-7 feet deep and is a popular boating, fishing and sailing area.
