Stayed 7 nights - $13 / night. Flat ground for tent & right on the river with access for kayak. Lots of birdlife & hardly saw any other cars. Very peaceful.

AL :)
This place is well worth the $12. We checked out the free camping and everyone was packed in like sardines. Ended up coming here and didn't see another camper. One of the nicest places I've camped!

4 nights (mid September) in a camper and dog on leash - lovely spot a car width and a half off the dirt road with sun until midday. Have a view over the bank. Was a slight challenge to launch our hired canoe (delivered by Canoes Aventure Riverland) the bank is crumbling. A few cars only driving past and the returning due to being a dead end caused a dust issue. Loved it.
