What a piece of paradise. Brolgas walked past our van. Bird life in the trees is beautiful. Road in was great. Had not long been graded. SO PEACEFUL.

What a fantastic spot. Anything good said here about it I have to agree with, spend a week here, fantastic.

What a lovely spot, lots of green around early in the season, heaps of water in the creek and warm spring. Watched out for birds in the bird hide (station side of the creek) can easily camp near the loos without any creek crossing, but the creeks are cross able with caravans if needed. Road in nice and flat, some slightly soft bits but 2wd would make it. Road further north to the Lake is closed, big dirt piles over the old road blocking any access, so it's not going to open any time soon. Full Telstra coverage (4bars 4g) only 50min out of Marree. Had a dip in the springs and creek west side of creek follow track past the bird hide and pontoon to the south. Mozzies at dusk/dawn. Heaps of birds and life about. Bonus concrete benches to use. $10 per vehicle per night honesty box.
