Stayed 5nights in site 1. Nice and private here, as it was April school holidays (saw a few other campers, but hectic else where in EP). The drive in must keep the mobs away. Site 1/2/3 a little more protected & private. Great with a heap of kids (away from entrance Rd) Sites 4/5 great for a travelling pair with bay views from the site. Caught salmon, squid, snook of the boat and rocks. The ants tried moving into our tents (only down side of week)

Really awesome spot. Stayed there one night and wished we were there for longer. Took us a bit over an hour from the gate doing 20kph for a lot of it but well worth it. Stayed at site 5 with an awesome view of the beach and great access to it. Some other people mentioned problems with mice. We didn't see any sign of them and had no problems

Booked to camp at Memory Cove for three nights on 10/5/22. Arrived after one hour and 15 minutes from the locked gate. Road was the same as 45 years ago. We were the only ones at the Cove. It is a very lovely remote campsite but after much setting up we were forced to abandon camp after one night due to the mouse plague and drive back out of the wilderness area to another camp site. It was a shame as the area had many birds for birdwatchers. If people do decide to camp there they must expect the inside of their car and under the bonnet to be invaded, have a very well sealed camper trailer and everything in solid plastic tubs. An info sheet warning of this should be given when you pick up the key to access the area.
