Description
Self-sufficient bush camping is permitted in Lake Newland Conservation Park. This camping area is located at the base of the sand dunes. 2WD accessible. Continue through open gate at end of the road and turn left through the adjacent gate. No facilities. Just a quiet out of the way spot. A little exposed to South Westerly winds.
Room for 4 or so campers in two cul-de-sacs.
A little tight to turn a large caravan through the gates. Left hand turn is completed by turning 270 degrees around to the right like a U-turn. Okay for up to 18 foot.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks, camping areas and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site.
Pets are not permitted.

8km very good dirt road in. Easy to get through gate. Easy tk keep out if the wind. Easy walk back to Woolshed Cave.

Awesome free camp, right off the beach. Than you have time to explore the caves and rock pools. You don't need a 4x4 and we easily towed our 22 ft jayco in.

Quiet little spot. Bee farm not far so saw a few around looking for water, didn't cause any harm. Dogs were crazy about mice but didn't actually see any.
