BE WARNED: Access to the salt lakes via the northern roads into to the Gawler Ranges park does not exist. You have to drive all the way down to get anywhere near Gairdner, and halfway down to get anywhere near Everard. If you are here to see the salt lakes, head into the Gawler Ranges from the south, NOT the north, unless you want to add 150km of rough uneventful road to your trip, or you are already coming from the north. I don't even know how to get to Harry. There are no access tracks. You will have to bush bash.

Huge flat spaces and a few bins. Plenty of room. The flies were insane though!!

Previous review is a little confusing and had us thinking twice about heading south, in fact we may not have if didn't chat with a local. Access to the salt lakes IS possible heading south from Kingoonya. Access to the northern areas of the lakes is not possible. Road has light to medium corrugations and some small marked and unmarked washouts.
