Description
Lake side camp ground, sand/dirt/grassy ground. Suitable for tents, campers, caravans, lots of space along the edge of the lake. No water or dump point. Need to be fully self contained. Rubbish bins back along main road.

Some simple things to remember while camping around the Lake
The entire lake is of cultural significance, so please respect the area
Rubbish is to be taken with you
Fencing has been installed to restrict vehicle access
Camping access points are available, and camping is allowed but please stay within a reasonable distance
Camping is free but permits and fees will be payable in the future
Signage has been installed and fines will be issued for any breaches
Follow fire danger season restrictions
Motorbikes and chainsaws are not permitted
Due to excess use and damage the areas around the lake can be extremely boggy in places

Still closed off, no unauthorised access, no camping and no caravans.

This place is closed off. While council renovations are on. All the way down the east side were great lakeside spots. Now most of them closed off. Several places available some difficult to get into with a van. Mind the boulders placed around the designated spots. No green grass anywhere.
