Description
Located in the park beside Railway Terrace, Garry Duncans six 'Karoonda Shuffle' sculptures portray the rhythm of the grain crops grown in the district. The silhouettes are made with shuttle screens that create the visual of wheat moving in the wind. Duncan has explained: 'Two screens make the shuffle and they are offset so that as you walk past, they shuffle in the wind like wheat.
Karoonda is an RV friendly town and 48 hour stays are permitted in self-contained RV's only, at this location.

Extremely tidy town and the parking area provided for caravans and motorhomes is excellent. The silo art is fantastic. Karoonda has provided everything for the traveller.

Thanks Karoonda Council for this great stopover. Level Carpark area, spotless toilets, walk to silo art night show. We went across the road to pub for tea, great meals and country hospitality. Well done Karoonda.

Stayed for the night to view silos. The night silos didn't start until after dark. I enjoyed watching them. The area is right in town where the shops are close. The pub wasn't open probably because it was Sunday. Karoonda is a great little country town.
