Description
Book via YouCamp: Humpalicious Camel Farm offers shady bush camps for the self contained camper (you must have a portaloo, your own water, and take all rubbish and waste with you). You will feel like you are the only ones in the world in these peaceful sites. You are free to watch the camels from behind the fence, or if you want an up close and personal experience you can pay for a guided paddock walk or camel milking tour. Try some camel milk and camel milk ice cream.
The farm is 1km from beautiful Long Beach, a crystal clear shiny aquamarine bay. And 5km from the charming Robe town.

Absolutely beautiful secluded campground but at the time we went we were invaded by flying beetles that came out at dusk. Hundreds of thousands invaded our space and we eventually succumbed and had to dine in the tent, taking refuge from their repeated attacks. Maybe they are breeding. Didn't see the camels, which is a shame as the milk seems to have magical properties, but did get woken up by 17 helmeted guinea fowls

At $55 per night you would want breakfast and dinner
