Description

Parking and information is available in Eungella township. It is advisable to check local weather conditions before starting any walks in the rainforest. Insect repellent is advisable. Ensure you carry enough water for the walk, and wear sturdy hiking shoes. Several walking options start from here: Pine Grove Circuit 1.6km (45 minutes-1 hour). Fairly level circuit suitable for most visitors. Enjoy a pleasant walk in rainforest shade with glimpses of the Pioneer Valley. Return via roadside track. Pine Grove to Sky Window 2.8km (1-1.5 hours). Moderate level of fitness required for short uphill sections and stairs. Continue on from Pine Grove Circuit to enjoy the shade of giant red cedars along the Cedar Grove Track. You can't miss the fig tree arch - a favourite feature and photo stop. After walking past tranquil creeks, enjoy the views from the Sky Window Circuit and stay a while and relax at Sky Window picnic area.
