COVID-19 Update - Yorke Peninsula Council has now re-opened its bush camping sites for regional travellers.
Please remember that:
Gatherings should be kept to 10 or less people at any time;
Maintain 1.5m social distancing (1 person per 4 sqm);
If you have any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home until you are well;
Wash your hands often, wipe down touched surfaces and cover your coughs and sneezes; and
If you are a vulnerable person (i.e. elderly of have chronic health conditions), consult your doctor before planning to travel.

Gleesons Landing is located on the west coast of the foot, 19 kilometres south west of Corny Point - access off Corny Point to Marion Bay Road. Close to surf beaches
The camping area consists of unpowered sites, suitable for conventional vehicles and all types of camping. There are many small camping areas as well as areas suitable for groups.
Toilet facilities and rubbish and recycling bins are available.
BYO water and firewood. A water pump is available for bathing and washing but not fit for drinking.
No mobile phone reception.
Dogs are welcome in the camp grounds, but must be kept on a lead or under effective control at all times.

Yes it's a ok beachfront camp, but Daly Head just around the corner is so much better. Road in to Gleesons is shocking, prepare yourself for some corrugations!

One of the better camps in the area. As most have mentioned there are a few long term vans parked down in the prime position. Plenty of other nice areas to park up like what we did. The road is a bit rough on the way in but worth it for the views. @our_van_days

The Gadabouts
If you continue 1km passed the main camp there are more camping spots. Exposed though so check the weather. Also further from loo if you need it. Have Telstra reception at that spot. Spectacular views and sunset. Could watch hubby surf from my kitchen while making a cuppa! Great fishing too.
