Cows Head Corner, Caralue, South Australia

This free campground offers toilets of sorts. Not what I would call 'toilets', but rather an old disused drop. It is accessible to motorbikes, camper trailers and caravans. Camping in tents is allowed.

We stayed here last night. Beautiful birds, good Telstra. The dunnies are definitely full (plan to stop in town), and ladies get a Kula cloth! But the area is large, and much of it was pretty clean (aside from the toilet paper forest). Very quiet, gorgeous birds, and a few bees. Lovely view too! It was a bit windy, but it's a super windy day! We came in via the panitaya road and old eyre highway on the west. Would recommend to a friend. Out! Watch out for three star jacks!

Nice and quiet spot protected from the wind . Need to be self-contained

Stayed early March 2021. Cows Head Corner road access closed coming from bitumen Eyre Highway. ( managed to squeeze around barrier but some soft sand sections on this track) Best to enter from Old Eyre Highway into Bluff Road and go to the very end of access road . Beautiful conservation reserve - had it all to ourselves but need to be self sufficient. Leave it clean
