We loved camping here . Only stayed one night night but could have happily stayed more . We camped high on ridge in campsite 4 . Wonderful views of the mountain. The changing colours at sunset are amazing . Plenty of large flat areas for everyone. Water in the creek while we were here too . Not as many birds as we expected . Lovely walks

Beautiful part of Australia. Walk up to Mount Chambers rewards those with far reaching views. The walk to the Aboriginal Rock Etchings is memorable. From the car park, walk down towards the gorge and follow the first creek on your left. About a 1/2 hour return trip. If you follow the main gorge through to the other side you'll walk through stunning scenery with many rock pools. Please, don't cut down living trees, or the roots of trees for fire wood. Many years of drought have taken their toll here in Chambers Gorge. The fauna and flora struggle to survive in this environment. In the 60 years of camping here, l've never seen so many dead trees. Enjoy the scenery, don't destroy it.

Amazing place. Rough drive in. We managed with 4WD and on-road camper trailer. Lots to explore and admire. Goats and hundreds of zebra finches (we think). PLEASE DONT USE THE RIVER BED FOR A TOILET! or the camping spots! Way too much littler left by campers. Please respect this place! Thanks to the property owners for the access.
