Winter: Only one here! Superb with 6 sites. The best part is the camp is sheltered from the wind in a 'bowl' below Cape Banks lighthouse, and the resident sea-lion colony is a wonderful sight. Yes people they are sea-lions not seals! I'm always amazed how few people appreciate how different they are anatomically and socially? Tip: The second island is where you'll find them resting on the shallow rocks and frolicking in the water. Best time is low tide as you can get really close and swim with them - always maintaining a careful and respectful distance. Shrimpy The ManintheBlackVan Retired van-lifer

Beautiful clean sites. Amazing sunsets (lookout for the seals playing by the rocks). Toilet on-site. Access to beach for 4WDing.

Strange Expedition
Excellent spot, booked 2 nights and then one extra, had site 2 for caravan, site 4 also very suitable. One group of freeloaders arrived 9.00pm on first night and left early otherwise all to ourselves. Great walking beaches this time of year and surf fishing. For a great lunch or dinner try the Tantanoola Tiger Hotel. Also the Tantanoola Caves are small but spectacular.
