Bunda cliffs, South Australia

A short drive off the highway to a beautiful spot right above the Cliffs. Awesome sunsets and lovely views over the ocean. Can be a bit windy but worth it. Track in is near 135k pin from border village Easy drive for bigrigs and plenty of space to park and turn

Always wanted to camp on the Bunda Cliffs. 2 nights ago we chose Campsite#2 as it was getting late but we had showers & really bad wind all night. Still really windy in the morning & drove out via Campsite#1 & there were lots of mounds of dirt to camp behind for shelter. A great view of the cliffs too. A better choice if it is windy.

An awesome spot overlooking the Great Australian Bight. Had fabulous views of Bight and cliffs but no whales. Best whale viewing was at the Head of the Bight. Going west look for 135km road sign. Track in is a very sharp left turn with a green arrow so go a little further to the parking bay on the right (doing a U turn) to come almost directly to the track. Road in is quite easy and plenty of spots to park. There were 10 vans last night
