Awesome campsites! We drove through the creek bed to the sites on the other side. Plan ahead if you want to stay here. You need to book online as all the campsites are allocated. We didn't realise this and with no reception couldn't book so took the risk with a campsite and turns out someone had booked it. No dramas we moved to a different one and paid our money once we got service.

Pick of the camp grounds in the NP, in my opinion - camped in no.14. (4wd section). Off the main Gorge road enough to feel secluded. Gorge road from outback hwy is fine, a few small bumps and puddle crossings but mostly dry, take your time, well worth the drive. Great fire pits and very clean drop toilets

Didn't stay but DO NOT COME FROM THE OUTBACK HIGHWAY SIDE! Went in to have a look and the track is undrivable without a winch. Went in with our 200 series (not towing) and quickly turned around after nearly getting stuck in the half dried up creek
