Bellwether is one of the hottest boutique wineries in the country based in an 1868 stone shearing shed. It is eclectic, stylish, friendly and very environmentally focused. This boutique campground, has six beautiful Bell tents to sleep up to 12 people (2 in each tent) or 6 camp sites if you bring your own gear. Surrounded by 500+ year old red gums and central communal campfire to keep you warm with a glass of red in the cooler months. Thanks While staying at our winery, see the wine being made during vintage, even join in if you want to do the vintage experience. Visit the friendly Coonawarra cellar doors, dine at local restaurants, partake in our special 'Table of Ten' dining experience. The World heritage listed Naracoorte Caves are 20 mins up the road or take a drive over ancient coastlines to the seaside fishing towns of Robe and Beachport. Glamp in a Luxurious Bell Tent. Wake to the birds, sleep in a bed with fresh linen and creature comforts, a short walk from our unique cellar door. Pure Coonawarra heaven! Did we mention our posh loos? We have a beautiful amenities building with 7 showers, 6 toilets and a claw foot bath. This includes a disabled shower and toilet. Our camp kitchen is fit for a chef, oven, BBQ, hot plate, cooking fire and incredible herb garden. Our wines are pretty good too!

Really enjoyed our one night stay here on a powered site close to the gates. Great night had tasting the local wines, chatting to the lovely and very artistic Cate, and exploring the grounds.

WOW! what an amazing unique and quirky winery stay! would highly recommend! Yes, you do have to pay for the tastings, but if you buy a bottle of wine you don't pay for the tasting. We found that Sue & all the team were very friendly and genuinely interested in sharing their knowledge of their products. Their passion for what they do is evident, personal touches were everywhere, from the very clean bathrooms, ( with single use hand towels etc) to the fully set up unique rustic camp kitchen, which had everything you need. the natural feel of the whole environment was amazing, they have chickens, a donkey, sheep , cockatoo's in the very old red gum trees, dogs mable & red dog Pippa. an old fashioned playground complete with a tree house young kids would love it!

If you like to stay somewhere different, that oozes charm & character this place is for you! In all the places we have stayed over the years this one rates the very best country setting! It's peaceful, has lots of history steeped into the old 1800's shearing shed, that they have respectfully turned into a cellar door, but much more than that! we felt like we were sitting around my nana's kitchen table while having the wine tasting. The surrounding gardens complete with edible flowers & a variety of herbs was so lovely, this encompasses the rustic camp kitchen, complete with well shaped fire pit to cook on( with all heavy duty camp pots pans etc for your use) or just to warm up. they have a variety of cooking equipment to use bbq, hot plate, as well as the usual kitchen appliances
