Stayed here in June. We were the only ones at the campsite and took the only level area at the top of the hill which had a fantastic view but we regretted this when the winds and rain came up overnight. A sleepless night was had as we feared damage to our pop top van. Cellar door in need of revamp but Shiraz was reasonable. Shower and toilet excellent. We would not stay again as there are many secluded unpowered spots amongst gumtrees available at the Melrose caravan park or the huge Showgrounds and are a lot easier to find but thanks for the novelty stay with grapevines and sheep.

Amazing views from this spot and very peaceful. Only one other camper here. The town of Melrose had a combined cafe/petrol station/ mini supermarket which provided all the essentials. Would definitely come back here.
