Description
Enjoy a stay far away from the city and other people, when you camp on one of Almerta's campgrounds. We found 13 special spots on our property, that we want to share with you and you won't have to share them with anybody else! Because when you or groups book a campsite, we won't let anybody else stay there at the same time.Feel completely connected to the nature, wake up with the birds singing in the trees, watch our sheep graze or kangaroos hop by and gaze at the bright milky way at night.
Sites are unpowered and suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravsn, motorhomes and big rigs. Facilities include toilets, showers, water, camp kitchen and laundry.
Pets are permitted.

What a beautiful place to spend a few days! And what beautiful people who own this station, they take a lot of time and put a lot of effort into making sure everyone is comfortable and happy, totally recommend it. The camp grounds huge and you get your own space with no other campers in site! Lovely walks around the whole station ( take a whole day todo them totally worth it ) they even have a golf course, providing you with balls and a club! Stayed here last 2 nights. Bluff View campsite. Magnificent, next to a dry creek bed. Hosts Shane and Paddy lovely to deal with. Purchased $20 good wood lasted 2 x nights used in huge fire pit on site. Did scout around the property. Day trip into Wilpeana Pound. Great safe location. Outback dunny on each campsite. NO taking / using firewood on property. Purchase or BYO .
