Be aware that they currently close at noon, so we sadly never got to see it! Apparently due to owners illness, so get there early!

The museum is in the basement of the post office building at the bottle structure. Entry door behind the big bottle. Donation. History of a Andamooka, big display of opals and you can buy opal jewellery in the shop where post office is.

Excellent place to stop to look at the bottle house, go in to the opal showroom and the shop. There is so much lovely jewellery and the underground showroom is great showing the tools used for opals and a range of different opals from around Australia.
